I, Andrew Coulter, together with my partner Katie, am the driving force behind Andrew Coulter Photography.

Your wedding day is as special to us as it is to you. Our clients demand more than most and we consistently and competently deliver, offering you complete peace of mind.

We realise the need for individuality and offer 4 main photographic options for your day as well as an indulgent bespoke service. All are tailored to your needs.

My creative eye, along with Katie’s feminine influence, will ensure that each image captures the love & romanticism of your day.

We offer a highly personal service which starts from the moment of booking and continues far beyond your wedding day itself. Our level of care sets us apart from the crowd.

We really get to know you before your big day to ensure that you are happy and comfortable, we are unobtrusive, and you get fantastic photographs. I will always ensure that I am personally available to assist with your requirements.

Unlike many others our work does not finish when your wedding does. Each image is beautifully edited to ensure that you receive only exceptional photographs to view.

After you have chosen your images, Katie and I will then carefully design your unique wedding album.

We recognise the need for quality. Our albums are not only first class, they are world class. We have spent years researching and cannot find any that supersede them. Our other products are all of the highest calibre.

Cornwall Wedding photography and Devon Wedding Photography. Andrew Coulter photography ’s way of photographing your wedding is a lot of fun. It does not involve a lot a group wedding photographs; instead, concentrates upon modern, stylish images that capture the fun and enjoyment of your wedding day.

Wedding photography shoot at the bride’s house

We normally shoot for 5-7 hours on a typical wedding day, usually starting with preparations at the bride’s house. This is a lot of fun, as usually the bride is running around nervously trying to get ready to go to the wedding ceremony. It is usually a good way to start the story of your wedding day, and enables the bride to get some photographs when they are looking at their best.

Wedding photography with the groom before the ceremony

We usually shoot for about an hour before meeting up with the groom, whether getting ready (in our experience the groom doesn’t take too long before wanting to get to the bar with his best man and ushers!) This is a good way to get some natural images of the groom, without the pressure of a full compliment of wedding guests wanting to get in with their cameras.

Wedding photography at the church or registered venue

After a (stiff) drink the groom will head for the church, registry office or registered hotel, where we will photograph the guests arriving for the wedding ceremony. During the wedding ceremony we will shoot in an unobtrusive way, and capture the love and emotion of the bride and groom.

Photography after the wedding service

Immediately after the wedding service, we will stay in the background, and capture some fantastic images of the guests congratulating the bride and groom, and take any family group photographs that are necessary at this time.

Location shoot fashion style

We then usually head off for a location shoot of the bride and groom alone, where we can capture some artistic shots, in a fashion shoot style, and is a fantastic way for the couple to relax in front of the camera.

Wedding reception photography

We will then head to the wedding reception, which is once again a great way of getting some relaxed photographs of the guests having a drink, before the entertainment of the best man s speech!

Studio photography

We will go and get some dinner ourselves at this point, before returning later with our portable studio photo set up. This is a great opportunity for your wedding guests to take a studio photograph away with them on the night, and is a great way of getting a family photograph when everyone is together and all dressed up. The studio photographs are printed off on the night and are available to purchase immediately. Then it’s time to head home, and get started on editing and enhancing the images, for that airbrushed look.

We have recently started to specialise in photography forcivil partnerships in devon, and civil partnership photography in cornwall.
